I just started watching this series. It’s totally addicting. I’ll have to say…I didn’t have much expectations at first. But man, am I so wrong. This series has it all. Determination. Passion. Drive. Guts. Perseverance. Brilliance. The show follows stock brokers, investors, fund managers, etc. on their path to El Dorado. Seriously. Watching this show makes me realize I have just as much guts and passion and drive as these guys. Maybe not in stocks but definitely in my own trade. Anyways there’s a 28 yrs. old in this episode that grew up in a middle-class family in Canada and is now a wealthy investor who happens to drive a very fancy Ferrari. Yes, my friends. He was able to make it to the top because of his sheer determination…and probably a bit of lady luck on his side
Anyways, it’s a good show to remind yourself how you need to push yourself in order to succeed in anything in this world. Hey, watching people gain lots and lots of money ain’t bad either. If they can do it, you can do it too!
Just a few moments ago, I was worrying over a money situation. A seemingly upsetting money situation. Worried, I called my parents for consolation and/or advice. I was so stressed that I got emotional on the phone. After minutes of trying to calm me down, my dad finally said, “You have to stop worrying. Because when you worry you cannot think. And when you cannot think you cannot find a solution.” The rationale in me began to kick in, and I quickly realized my problem was all in my head. Nothing is a problem if there’s a solution to it. So I began clearing my mind and thought of an action plan to fix my money woes. I immediately felt relief. Interestingly, I looked over my so-called “problem” and it really wasn’t a problem anymore. I didn’t read the fine details and found out that it’s as according to plan. So I overreacted a little? Well, I needed to vent the mounting stress a little. It felt good to vent but at least I didn’t dwell on it for too long (this is key to quick recovery and finding the solution). After I realized my problem wasn’t even a problem, I just thanked the Universe for giving me an analytical brain and for insight. I also was affirmed that the true way to deal with my money “problems” is to find creative ways to make lots of money. Thankfully, I have the projects that I believe will do just that.
This is our mantra. A mantra is a repeated saying, an affirmation that gets you believing in its truths. Right now, we're saying this:
My mind is clear and focused on what I truly desire. Everything I do leads me to my higher good.
