Mir-ATHENA, ;o)
I wish this was the first thing I picked up out of the self-help section, I think this would have saved me a lot of money i.e. books, therapy... 'non' prescription drugs. I'm glad I have found something to read every night when the urge to desperately search google for an answer to "why HE (the one) left me" is the most unbearable. Yes, I DO know what you 're saying, and I know that the millions of our broken-hearted co-sufferers do to. You certainly have an innocent way of telling your story that will help those who can relate feel much more at ease. Wouldn't it be great if our therapists came with similar stories? May have helped a bit more. I wish Chris Crocker was my therapist, that would have helped, too.

Thank you for sharing this. Although I still have unbearable heart-wrenching thoughts... ("Oh my gosh, this article is entitled 'Hope for the Heart', our first date was a concert whose tour was called "Hope for the hopeless"! Doesn't that mean something???..." blah) this will help me in so many ways. I just hope next week on my birthday after I get my eyebrows done like Chris Crocker, I will come to the same realization.
Thanks again for sharing

I Love you and I'm proud of you!

ATHENA! I love this post. Thank you for sharing and for being so genuine with your thoughts. Lord only knows we've all had some similar relationship experience, and like love, I guess the healing, that pivotal moment of realization where you all of a sudden know that everything is going to be OK, happens when you least expect it and when you stop trying and just learn to be.

I'm so so so proud of you. Thanks for being an inspiration.
