I believe one can get inspired from absolutely anything at anytime. At least in my case, I get inspired from on high with a lot that comes into my awareness. For instance, I can get inspired by just looking at the lake that’s outside my window. How the sun glistens across all the ripples throughout the water, which causes a sort of magnificence that only nature can bring about. But the other day, it wasn’t nature that inspired me. It was a little30-60 second blip on TV about Emilio Estefan, a music mogul. All I remember hearing was how he “went from the mail room to the boardroom.” Immediately, I was intrigued and started thinking how literally anyone can get to the top. Of course most of us know that anyone can “make it” especially in America, but sometimes we need to be reminded. What happens is that people go about their day and tackle their daily tasks, which essentially becomes an automated motion. And then they forget about their own hopes and dreams and end up quite comfortable in their current position. Okay maybe you’re already wildly successful and raking in the gold, but for the rest of the pack, I would think there is that strive to be something more. Am I correct? In actuality, unless you are completely and utterly complacent and/or don’t have a pulse, there’s always going to be some sort of desire for something better (yes even the ones who have “made it”).  I believe humans are built to form desires which in turn creates the progression of their livelihood. In other words, we’re built to move forward, set our own goals and achieve them, and strive for a better existence.  Anyways, this little spot on TV gave me that extra boost, that stamina of faith and confidence in my own abilities.  It’s nice to know that I can get inspired from anything at anytime.
